My Story

Update 18/06/22

So fitness has improved hugely since I started this with a current personal best Half Trail Marthon of 2 hours 6 minute in Feb 22. Now running around 30-35km per week, a big step forwards from my previous 10km. Cant help remember that this year is 10 years since loosing my brother, really looking forward to doing him proud this year.

I'm running the 2022 London Marathon to raise money for Global?s Make Some Noise, a national charity that supports small charities looking after some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.

Several motivations for this, firstly I need to get fitter and have enjoyed running over the last 2 years, my starting point is I regularly run 5k's a couple of time a week.

Secondly in memory of my brother (as always) because his wish was to raise money for charities once he'd beaten cancer, proud to be doing this in his memory and doing my bit to help others.

So please give generously (donations, best wishes,  hints and tips or training opportunities all welcome)
