My Story

I'm Lucy, anyone who knows me knows I HATE anything to do with exercise, walking, the (not so) great outdoors, camping, flat shoes, sensible clothing etc. 

So to raise money for Global's Make Some Noise, giving local charities a voice, I am camping in a tent for the night & partaking in a 5 mile walk, which requires me in a sleeping bag followed by a day of me wearing sensible shoes. This is happening on Wednesday 18th Sept for the camping & Thursday 19th Sept for the 5 mile walk. 

Global’s Make Some Noise is a national charity that funds and empowers local charities; helping disadvantaged children and young people living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity across the UK. Here in Manchester one of the charities we’re supporting is Reubens Retreat https://www.makesomenoise.com/reubens-retreat/ - a charity based in Glossop that supports families bereaved of a child and families of children with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition.
